Improving LGBTQIA+ inclusion in India - 4 PM IST - Sat 27th JuneThis Saturday join us for an important and powerful webinar on improving LGBTQIA+ inclusion in India in Indian campuses, workplaces and society at large. LGBTQIA+ Indians (including those in the IIMK community) face unique challenges and discrimination and it is important for all of us to be allies in building a more inclusive society.Our alumnus Himanshu Singh, who came out after IIMK, will moderate this discussion. He will host Harish Iyer, a well known equal rights activist and Richa Vashista, a mental health professional for a frank and open discussion sharing their own life experiences, the very real challenges LGBTQIA+ Indians face including mental health, and practical interventions that can help improve inclusion.We hope this one hour will inform you, touch you and make you an ally.The IIM Kozhikode Alumni Association is hosting this webinar in collaboration with Umeed, a LGBTQ informal resource student group in IIM Kozhikode promoting equality for LGBTQ community formed by allies, faculty and community members.
