UF/IFAS Extension - Brevard County

Come learn about your county in the most extraordinary civics class you will ever take! This 7-week course will teach you how the county develops a budget, paves roads, trains employees maintains parks, cares for our natural resources, and so much more. This course also provides you with the skills and tools needed to become leaders in creating stronger, sustainable, and livable communities.<h3>Please only register if you can commit to attending all 7 weeks</h3>You will have the chance to ask county department directors and/or their staff about what they do, how they get it done, and what the future holds.Classes meet at various locations throughout the county every Thursday, beginning February 6th, 2025, and ending March 20, 2025. The class starts at 9 am and ends no later than 3 pm. The full agenda will be provided on the first day of class. <ul><li>If this class is sold out, please join the waitlist. We will open up a second registration page and you will be the first to be notified! Each entry on the waitlist counts as one ticket.</li></ul>

NOTE: Classes and events may be canceled at any time due to low registration or other circumstances, with full refunds issued for paid events.
