Endless Editionspresents the first ever VirtualBrooklyn Art Book Fair(V-BKABF), a comprehensive online book fair dedicated to supporting independent artist publishing during the Covid-19 outbreak.Peruse the fair map to discover vendor’s tables, add items to cart with a convenient single point of sale, drop into Zoom rooms to chat with exhibitors, and enjoy interactive public programs.Since its founding in 2017, the Brooklyn Art Book Fair has worked to prioritize underrepresented and emerging artists. Inverting the typical fair model, BKABF has lowered the barrier to entry and increased visibility for small or under-resourced publishers by providing tables and space to exhibitors free of cost.In choosing to digitize the fair, rather than delay or cancel it, we continue our ongoing commitment to provide economic relief to artist publishers. With fairs being called off and storefronts closed, V-BKABF acts as a new platform to support this creative community in continuing to deliver vital cultural narratives and being equitably compensated.

A virtual conversation with organizers of feminist/POC-centered zinefests and events across the East Coast as part of V-BKABF!

Join us on Zoom at 6:30pm EST on Friday, June 26 for the inaugural program to kick off the first ever Virtual Brooklyn Art Book Fair! Zinefest organizers of feminist/POC-centered events will share from their experiences. We&#x27;ll discuss the joys (and challenges) of creating and evolving a volunteer-lead zinefest; maintaining and structuring our organizational teams; fostering inclusive and community-centered values within our zinefests; and adaptations to the new, all-digital realm. With a focus on accessibility, the panel will discuss practical guidelines and methods of support that can lead to a more representative zine world. The panel will feature Paul John from BKABF, Jonas Cannon from Midwest Perzine Fest, Aurora Diaz from The Bettys Zinefest, Jordan Alam formerly with Barnard Zine Library and Feminist Zinefest, and moderator Pooja Desai from Feminist Zinefest.**Note this event is scheduled to EST timezone! <a href="https://feministzinefestnyc.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">NYC Feminist Zinefest </a>was founded in 2012 by Elvis Bakaitis and Kate Angell in the spirit of creating inclusive, DIY spaces for zinemakers with a feminist ethos. There have since been feminist-themed zinefests across the United States and Canada. Now in its 9th year, FZF is held annually at Barnard College and welcomes over 65 tablers at sliding scale or zero-cost.
