Lars Vogt's "Spannungen" Festival goes online as the "Ghost Festival". In this mixed chamber concert, live from Berlin.

<p>&quot;The &quot;Spannungen&quot; Festival was always about musicians reacting to the situations they found themselves in,&quot; says Lars Vogt, &quot;rethinking and reimagining music to allow audiences to experience it with emotional directness. As such, we&#x27;re delighted to present our Ghost Festival.&quot; </p><p>The concert begins with music for solo piano: Alexander Schimpf presents Scriabin&#x27;s idiosyncratic Préludes op. 74. Then Isabelle Faust is joined by Julian Steckel and Mario Häring Beethoven&#x27;s &quot;Archduke&quot; Trio, a towering masterpiece of the repertoire, before introducing Georges Rochberg&#x27;s rarely heard Caprice-Variations.
