Join artist Mel Andringa as he hosts the Family Puzzle Party in the NewBo City Market Yard!

Check out a handmade giant wooden puzzle and enjoy some family time on the Market Yard!We&#x27;ll have 6 giant wooden street puzzles, made by artist Mel Andringa, for pre-registration. They will be sanitized between uses by Market staff, stationed 6 feet away from each section.All puzzles can be completed in under 1 hour by a mixed aged family group. Each reservations is for ONE PUZZLE per GROUP, up to 6 people per group. Feel free to reserve spots for more than one puzzle!Grab the family, some lunch and get puzzling with the NewBo City Market! Please, no outside food or beverages. ...........................................................................................................................In 1991, Mel Andringa co-founded Legion Arts with F. John Herbert. He was the Producing Director for Legion Arts for thirty years. He served on the Cedar Rapids Visual Arts Commission, The Czech Village New Bohemia Main Street board and the Southside Investment Board. He is a recipient of the Robert Chadima Visionary Award.Andringa is also an artist and performer. His artwork has been exhibited in museums across the state of Iowa, and in art centers from coast to coast. He has performed his original plays in over 50 cities in the US and Europe. Andringa’s interest in picture puzzles dates back to his childhood. In 2010 Andringa made the first of his street puzzles to be used in community events and art fairs in New Bohemia, and he will be present during the Giant Puzzle Event to answer questions and provide tips for puzzle assembly.
