<p>The Crotona International High School a 9-12th grade school for English Language Learners, new to the United States. It is located near Fordham University, in the Belmont neighborhood of the Bronx. The Lighthouse visit will focus on our work based learning program and teacher-designed interdisciplinary projects that connect skills with content, competency based grading, and career and technical education classes.</p><p>This Lighthouse visit will highlight:</p><ul><li>Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes focused on WBL and a recording and]entertainment technology track that includes graphic design, music production and video production.</li><li>Interdisciplinary projects focused on themes that connect the skills and content within a grade level.</li><li>Competency-based assessment practices </li></ul>
