Movie Screening: Behind the Mask The student society China Yesterday at Columbia University is honored to host a screening of the documentary Behind the Mask!This powerful film explores the journey of Abduweli Ayup, a survivor of a Uyghur internment camp, as he confronts one of his former prison guards and grapples with the potential repercussions of this courageous decision. Following the screening, there will be a Q&A session with Abduweli himself. We are honored to have invited three influential panelists to this event:<ul><li>Rayhan Asat: a Uyghur lawyer and human rights advocate.</li><li>Mustafa Aksu: an ethnic Uyghur educator and advocate based in Washington DC.</li><li>Fengsuo Zhou: Executive Director of Human Rights in China</li></ul>Given Columbia's ongoing restricted campus access, we have relocated the event to a midtown venue to accommodate broader community participation.
