How much is the event?

This event is free  to register with an option to give a donation in advance, and by donation at the door. The suggested donation is $10-20 per person, and all donations go towards rent & expenses.

Is there any etiquette I should follow when meeting a Swami?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It's nice to greet Srila Vana Maharaja with folded "namaste" hands and give respects. Also, he will typically sit in a seat as attendees sit on the floor on cushions (dharma-talk style). Should sitting on the floor be uncomfortable or not doable, chairs are available.

Do I have to be part of a religion or spiritual practice to attend?

Accepted Answer

No. This event is open to all people who are interested with an open mind. There is no commitment or subscription to anything that's required. Come chant, be happy, feel peaceful, meet an incredible personality, meet new like-minded people, and feast on delicious blessed vegetarian preparations!
