Aux Cord Open Mic:
A Community-Oriented Event for All Artists

Join us every Thursday in Downtown Los Angeles’s co-working studio and creative hub for musicians and queer creators (@secretspotdtla), play your tracks at the Aux Cord Open Mic, and connect with local musicians.

This weekly open mic provides a safe space for LGBTQ+ artists and allies to express their talents. Whether you're a performer or a supporter, come participate in the Aux Cord Open Mic.

• Every Thursday, starting December 5, 2024
• 7 PM to 10 PM

Entry Fee:

• $5 (a small contribution to keep the music alive)
  

Who Can Join?

• This event is designed for everyone! We welcome pop singers, bedroom producers, emcees, goth artists, R&B musicians, industrial, hyperpop, synth wave enthusiasts, and more. Instrumentals are welcome, but we encourage performers to sing!
  
• We prioritize QTBIPOC artists; however, all artists are welcome to take part!

What to Expect:

• Bring your tracks and sing over them!
  Email your tracks in advance to pass@auxcordopenmic.com.
• Slots are first-come, first-served at the door. Each performer gets one song, and if time permits, we will open the floor for another round!

Aux Cable Open Mic

• Microphones and aux cord provided. If you’re planning on playing an instrument over your tracks, we have a keyboard and guitar.

Community Focused:

• DONT BE AN ASS HOLE - This is an open mic and community event. We strive to create a supportive atmosphere where artists of all skill levels can connect, collaborate, and grow.

• Refreshing drinks will be available to keep you energized and relaxed. (Infused Espresso, Tea, & Cocktails)
