Let’s come together as a community to make a difference in the lives of our beloved seniors! Zuhri Care is hosting its 2nd Annual Senior Care Basic Needs Drive to benefit <a href="https://bakerripley.org/programs-and-services/senior-health-and-wellness-centers/" title="https://bakerripley.org/programs-and-services/senior-health-and-wellness-centers/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">BakerRipley Senior Services</a>, and we’re inviting YOU to be part of this special event.We’re turning this donation drive into a celebration with a party atmosphere, complete with free food and drinks for everyone who joins us. It’s a chance to have fun, connect with neighbors, and give back—all in one afternoon. <h3>What We’re Collecting:</h3>We’re asking for donations of the following items:<ul><li>Toiletries and grooming supplies</li><li>Socks</li><li>Blankets</li><li>Dishwashing liquid</li><li>Laundry detergent</li><li>Paper towels</li><li>Toilet paper</li><li>Adult diapers</li><li>Wipes</li><li>Board games</li><li>Puzzles</li><li>Crosswords</li></ul>Don’t have any items to donate? No problem! We’ll also be accepting cash and gift card donations at the event. <h3>Why Your Support Matters:</h3>New data reveals that senior poverty is on the rise, with 11.2% of Americans aged 65 and older living below the poverty line in 2023.
