Where will I pick up my festival pass?

Where will I pick up my Supporter Pass?

Supporter pass pick up information will be emailed to you directly from Bang on a Can. Please email theodora@bangonacan.org with any questions about supporter passes.

Question 3

What does a SUPPORTER Pass Include?

Accepted Answer

A Long Play SUPPORTER PASS includes all of that PLUS:
-Priority seating for Terry Riley at 90!  Featuring  BoaC All-Stars and guests!
-A ticket to Tim Hecker’s exclusive pre-festival show at Public Records
-Special reception with our founders, Michael Gordon, David Lang, Julia Wolfe

Question 4

Can I reserve a seat at any shows? What happens if a show gets full?

Accepted Answer

Long Play shows are all first come, first served, so we recommend that you arrive early! If a show reaches capacity, audience will form a line, followed by "one out, one in."

Question 5

I just want to see one show - Are any single tickets available?

Accepted Answer

Most shows are only accessible with a festival pass (3 day or single day). However, Public Records shows are all available as single ; and Kim Gordon (Pioneer Works) 
Shows at the BRIC Stoop and the BAMCafe will be FREE so you can certainly drop in on those shows!

Are these concerts seated, or standing room only?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the venue or show – some are fully seated and others are standing room only. However, we will make every effort to provide a seat for anyone needing one at any Long Play performance.

Where exactly is this taking place? Is there a MAP?

Accepted Answer

Long Play takes place at multiple venues around Downtown Brooklyn, including BAM, BRIC House, The Space at Irondale, Issue Project Room, Pioneer Works, Public Records, and Roulette.
Maps will be available online and hard copies will be available at all venues.

I thought Pete Townsend was part of the Terry Riley celebration. What happened?

Unfortunately, Pete Townshend recently withdrew from the Long Play celebration of Terry Riley’s birthday due to recent and upcoming knee replacement surgeries and needs to focus on recovery. I love music, but this festival is too expensive for me. Any discounts?

As a mission based institution, it’s important to us that no person be unable to attend due to cost. If you feel you are in need of a subsidized ticket, please drop us a line at info@bangonacan.org. Subsidized tickets are made possible thanks to our Supporter Pass buyers. Thank you!
