See CE Information below ***Tickets are available until 8:00am on 7/8/2020 OR when capacity is reached***<h2> Webinar Description</h2>Family caregivers continue to provide significant long term care support and assistance to older persons who are able to remain in their homes and communities. Policies related to the caregiving needs of both care recipients and family caregivers have been enacted at the national level and in a small number of leading states. These policies and resulting programs have differed in their foci, provisions, and reach. Due to the large audience size there will be limited tech assistance. </li><li>See Continuing Education information below if receiving CE hours.</li></ul><h2>Continuing Education Information, Requirements, and Distribution </h2>2 live online contact hours will be awarded to NYS, NJ and CT licensed social workers who have met the attendance requirements. Licensed social workers from other states, please check with your licensing board. Columbia University School of Social Work is a CSWE accredited institution and many states have recognized its CE hours.Social Workers: CSSW is recognized by the New York State Education Department&#x27;s State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers. Provider #SW‐0021CE Certificate Requirements: Please note that in order to receive your CE certificate, you must attend the full hour and complete the evaluation in accordance to NYSED regulations. Please plan accordingly to log-in on time and remain for the duration of the event. There is a 10 minute grace period at at the start OR end of the webinar- no more than 10 minutes can be missed. Participants who do not meet the attendance requirements will not receive a CE certificate. CE Distribution: Evaluation and Certificate forms will be distributed via email within 5 business days of the event ending to those meeting the attendance requirements above.
