A portion of the proceeds will go to support The Innocence Project, helping to put an end to wrongful convictions!<h3>Announcing a new LIVE event!</h3>Be part of an &quot;open rehearsal&quot; with acting and directing veterans, those who have been working professionally for decades, including many of our podcast guests!First up are a couple of scenes from Shakespeare&#x27;s Richard III with Marcelo Tubert as Clarence, Anne Gee Byrd as Queen Margaret, and Tony Amendola (Utah Shakespeare, Berkeley Rep) as Richard. We&#x27;ll also be joined by a trio of younger actors: Kandace Crystal, Russell Clements, and Ashley Engelman playing the Duchess, Brackenbury, and Elizabeth!Gigi Bermingham and Geoffrey Wade direct the scenes and San Diego teacher and dramaturg Gideon Rappaport will be on-hand as well!In this workshop, you&#x27;ll:<ul><li>Learn from all the actors as they work through the scenes</li><li>You&#x27;ll be able to ask questions of the performers and dramaturg</li><li>The workshop will *NOT* be recorded or replayed—you must be there live!</li></ul>Space will be limited.Think of it like an open rehearsal/class/workshop—an updated take on John Barton&#x27;s Playing Shakespeare series (clip below)! We&#x27;re excited to bring all these wonderful folks together; it is such an amazing chance to work alongside and learn from such talented artists!
