PUBLIC HEARING #1-BVCP 2020 MID-TERM UPDATE

COMMUNITY MEMBERS WISHING TO SPEAK FOR PUBLIC HEARING (specific topics council will be voting on) WILL BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER ELECTRONICALLY IN ADVANCE.

 

There is no limit to the number of individuals for public hearings. Signs up for public hearings will be taken until 5 p.m. the night of the meeting, and those who are on the list to speak will receive a link to access the meeting between 5 and 6 p.m. the night of the meeting. Council will determine the length of speaking time for public hearings based on the number of participants. This time is usually two or three minutes. Participants may pool time for public hearings for up to five minutes if they have two additional individuals who are willing to cede time to a single speaker. The individuals who wish to cede their time must sign up in advance and be present in the meeting to verify their intention to donate additional time to the person who will speak on their behalf.

 

Public participation at council meetings will occur through audio only. The city is unable to display presentations or visuals from community members during council meetings, but those testifying are welcome to send these materials to council@bouldercolorado.gov.
