CJSR-Peer Professionals in Correctional/Justice Settings 20-Hour Training

Trainings for the Addiction and Recovery workforce.  Trainings approved by the ASAP New York Certification Board for Certified Peer Recovery Advocates (CRPAs) and Certified Addiction Recovery Coaches (CARCs).  Trainings approved for Counselors (CASAC's) and most are approved for Social Workers in New York State.

Join us for a 20-hour online training for peer professionals working in correctional and justice settings.

Welcome to the Peer Professionals in Correctional/Justice Settings event! Join us on Thursday March 27th, Friday March 28th and Thursday April 3rd, and Friday April 4th, 2025 for this 20-Hour Virtual Training! This event is a great opportunity for peer professionals working in correctional and justice settings to come together, share experiences, and learn from your trainers and from each other!This training has been approved by NYS InUnity-NYCB for the Criminal Justice Supported Recovery (CJSR) Peer Certification (20-Hours), OR CARC Electives OR Peer Recovery (CRPA/CARC) Continuing Education CE's. It has also been approved by NYS OASAS for 20 hours towards CASAC renewal, CPP and CPS (prevention) initial certification and renewal.Your facilitators: Ben Deeb, CRPA, CARC, CJSR, PSP and Deb Rhoades, LCSW, CASAC (M), CARC
