IN Cntr for Prevention of Youth Abuse & Suicide

Join us for a free, essential training on the Signs of Suicide (SOS) program designed for parents, caregivers, and other adults.

SOS is an evidence-based program that teaches youth how to recognize signs of depression and suicide in themselves and their peers. This session will provide parents and caregivers with an overview of the program and the ACT approach—Acknowledge, Care, and Tell—a simple but effective strategy for supporting youth in need. Participants will leave with valuable tools to recognize warning signs and feel empowered to start conversations about mental health and suicide prevention with their children.Why Attend?<ul><li>Learn the SOS approach and the role parents play in youth mental health.</li><li>Understand the signs of depression and suicide risk in teens.</li><li>Build confidence to talk openly about mental health with your child.</li></ul>This training is free and open to all parents and caregivers as well as any adults who want to learn more about supporting the youth in their lives.
