On the surface, Arts Mission Oak Cliff is a repurposed old church.But it's a lot more than that – as a sanctuary for artists – and a safe place to foster artistic creativity, energy, and growth for all who enter.

How to be a Ninja Camp with Bobby GarciaHave you ever wanted to spin a sword like a Jedi or a staff like a Kung-Fu master? Want to pick up a cane or hoop or chain and spin it around or just...move with it? This camp is perfect for anyone who is interested in theater work, performance work, martial arts, or just wants to be able to pick up objects and move with them like a Ninja!This is an energetic camp where students will study movement, body mechanics, &amp; range of motion. Students will get to choose an object, or objects, to focus on &amp; learn the fundamental planes of motion, balance points, &amp; ways they can manipulate, spin, &amp; just look cool while being a Ninja!Students will progress at their own pace &amp; receive individual feedback &amp; guidance. We will have movement games &amp; challenges designed to help them practice on their own &amp; in a safe manner. Classes will be live-streamed &amp; students will receive access to recorded video tutorials &amp; extra material.time/day:June 15-19 // 11am-12pmJuly 13-17 // 11am-12pmage: 8-14cost: $50/weekformat: one hour classes for one week via Zoom
