We are pleased to invite you to attend the seventh annual Retreat sponsored by Princeton E-ffiliates Partnership (E-ffiliates), and the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, on Tuesday, June 9, 2020. This year the Retreat will be held virtually, from 10:00 a.m. – noon EST. The goal of the <A HREF="https://acee.princeton.edu/effiliates-2020-retreat/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">E-ffiliates Retreat</A> is to create strong connections between E-ffiliates corporate members and students, postdoctoral research fellows, and Andlinger Center faculty around problems that cross-cut industry, academia, and public policy in the fields of energy and the environment.
This year, we thought it appropriate to explore the topic of resilience. Specifically, how climate change adaptation can help build resilience. Resilience helps systems and communities to bounce back from climate impacts, including extreme weather events. First, we will focus on coastal cities, communities, and systems threatened by sea level rise and other impacts, and we will examine how longstanding development patterns influence these effects. Then, we will broaden the focus to resilience across other energy and infrastructure systems. We will hear about new resilience tools, such as artificial intelligence, and other ways companies—including several E-ffiliates members—are leading resilience efforts.
The E-ffiliates Retreat starts at 10:00 a.m. and includes brief presentations and interactive discussions with key stakeholders from industry, government, non-profit, and academia on resilience in the face of today’s energy and climate challenges. There will be a special spotlight on coastal resilience.

Students and Postdoctoral Researchers are welcome to join select speakers following the webinar, to engage in a casual Q&A. Please select your interest when prompted in registration.
