Are language skills important?

Yes, fluency in English and comfort in presenting in front of an audience are important for collaboration and presentations during the course.

Do I need to know gen AI to apply for the course?

No specific experience is required, but we ask you to describe your familiarity with generative AI to better tailor the course to your needs.

Who will my teammates be in the "team of five" mentioned above?

You will be paired with at least one college or university student from a different country or region.

What will I be able to demonstrate upon completing the course?

You will collaborate with a team of five to launch a generative AI app on GitHub and present it to a panel of professional judges.

What is the difference between coaches and mentors?

Coaches will follow a team of 5 students from week 7 to 9.

Mentors will host office hours according to their specific professional topic E.g: Eng, Product, UX, from week 3~9, as well as provide 1 on 1 coaching opportunity

What is the course objective?

By the end of the course, you will develop a fully functional AI Tutor app of your choice, gaining expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technologies.

How is the final presentation structured?

All teams will present their final projects, and each team member must participate in the presentation. Team members will decide how to allocate speaking roles among themselves.
