Mira teaches the basics of Argentine Tango in a welcoming, queer-friendly series.  No experience necessary; no partner necessary. All ages.

Mira Barakat is back to teach beginning tango! Mira is a full-time professional tango teacher who is equally excellent at leading and following. She helps students create connection and communication in their dance, while explaining the technique clearly.The beginner class is geared towards total beginners. This dance class is taught using the terms "leaders" and "followers" and is inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people. No partner necessary.Wednesdays, Nov. 13th through Dec. 18th 7:00-8:00 pm beginner class 8:00-8:30 pm practicaThe practica is included with the class, and we encourage everyone to stay, keep dancing, and ask questions!$129.89 for six-week series $97.88 for student with IDDrinks are for sale at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge, across the hall.
