Is this workshop being hosted online or in person?

This health-department specific workshop will be hosted online. We use Zoom technology for all virtual sessions.  If you'd like us to host a personalized session for your LHD or conduct an in-person event, please reach out to us at info@pophealthinnovationlab.org.

Can more than one person from my organization attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Training is more powerful and easier to implement when you have multiple people from your team sharing knowledge and building skills together. We offer a 20% group discount off the regular rate when three or more people register together to attend the same workshop.

What accessibility practices will the virtual workshops use?

We turn Zoom auto-captions on for each virtual workshop. We will send out copies of any presentation or handouts ahead of the workshop session. After the workshop, we will share any referenced resources and you will have access to the event recording for 30 days.

Can multiple people attend with a single registration?

No. These workshops are interactive and will require each person to participate in activities within small groups. We have capped the registration at a certain number of participants to ensure effective teaching and connection between peers. Each person, therefore, requires their own registration.

Do I have to be seasoned in collaboration work to attend this workshop?

This workshop is for LHD leaders, stewards, and members of collaborative bodies working to advance well-being in their communities.  Turn-over is a common thing in collaboratives.  We invite anywho who identifies with any of the "Who Should Enroll" bullets to attend-despite years of experience.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are refundable until two weeks prior to the event. Registrant who cancel will receive a refund of their registration fee minus Eventbrite fees and a 10% PHIL processing fee. The 10% fee covers non-recoupable administrative expenses associated with registration and event preparation.

What is the difference between this workshop and the "Strategic Collaboration" workshop options?

Content of the two workshops is similar. However, this workshop is specifically for LHDs.  This provides a unique opportunity for LHDs to discuss shared challenges and opportunities as you address collaboration.  If you'd like to learn with people from other sectors, consider attending the other.
