Christina Chiu will talk about her award-winning novel, Beauty, set in the fast-paced and often unforgiving New York fashion industry.

In <a href="https://amzn.to/3dymsdL" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Beauty,</a> Christina Chiu has created a glamorous milieu in which her character, Amy Wong, struggles to make her mark and transcend cultural and familial expectations. Christina , the author of <a href="https://amzn.to/2WhF2B3" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Troublemaker and Other Saints</a>, won the James Alan McPherson 2040 Book Award for Beauty. This award, given to a minority writer by the Santa Fe Writers Project, includes publication of the manuscript by 2040 Books. We&#x27;ll hear about Christina&#x27;s journey to write and get this novel published, and what message she hopes readers will be left with.
