I only see one date listed on the ticket at checkout.  Isn't the workshop for three days?

When purchasing a seat for this training, please select the start date of the workshop you are planning to attend.  This will register you for all three days of the selected workshop.  You will receive a follow-up email from PHIL with additional details.

Is this workshop being hosted online or in person?

This is an online workshop. We will use Zoom technology for all sessions. If you'd like us to host a personalized session for your health department or conduct an in-person event, please reach out to us at info@pophealthinnovationlab.org.

What time zone are the workshops using?

Workshops are listed in Pacific Time (US & Canada). Each session is from 9am - 1 pm PT. If you are joining from another time zone, please note the time difference.

Can more than one person from my health department attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Training is more powerful and easier to implement when you have multiple people from your team sharing knowledge and building skills together. We offer a 20% group discount off the regular rate when three or more people register together to attend the same workshop.

What currency does this workshop series use?

We are based in the United States and our registration is in US dollars.

What accessibility practices will the workshop use?

Accepted Answer

We turn Zoom auto-captions on for each workshop. We will send out copies of any presentation or handouts ahead of the workshop session. After the workshop, we will share any referenced resources and you will have access to the event recording for 30 days.

Do I have to be an epidemiologist to attend?

No!  To participate effectively in this workshop, you can hold a variety of titles involved in outbreak response.

Can multiple attend with a single registration?

Accepted Answer

No. This workshop is interactive and will require each person to participate in activities within small groups. We have capped the registration at a certain number of participants to ensure effective teaching and connection between peers. Each person, therefore, requires their own registration.

Are tickets refundable?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are refundable until two weeks prior to the event. Registrant who cancel will receive a refund of their registration fee minus Eventbrite fees and a 10% PHIL processing fee. The 10% fee covers non-recoupable administrative expenses associated with registration and event preparation.

All refund requests should be emailed to info@pophealthinnovationlab.org. Please note, we are unable to process refunds after a refund deadline has passed. Please see refund deadlines below.

What are the refund request deadlines for each workshop?

Accepted Answer

Refund requests for the November 2024 workshop must be received no later than November 5, 2024.  Refund requests for the December 2024 workshop must be received no later than November 27, 2024. Refund requests for the January 2025 workshop must be received no later than January 8, 2025.
