For the health care activist who enjoys dressing up for a cause (and is tired of wearing pajamas), don your best duds while helping everyone have the health care they need. Let’s make sure that when the next health crisis strikes, universal health care’s in place to support and protect us all. Imagine one nonprofit payer for health care whose goal is taking care of patients and medical professionals rather than getting rich off of them. The event planning team is still fleshing out the flow (How can we involve the giraffe that’s been wandering through the suburbs?) so if you have suggestions, share them! (Info(at)couniversalhealth.org) We will break into Zoom Rooms, play games, be creative and have fun. This is a gala-less gala, and a fundraiser. Every dollar you donate goes straight to the cause (without stopping to pass a table filled with ostrich eggs or caviar.) But we’ve lost our taste for exotic animals, haven’t we, considering the likely source of COVID-19?
