FLAMENCO! LIVE! ﻿was envisioned, conceived and has thrived  since 2002  in Sonoma County, California. Presenting the collaborative efforts of the Bay Area's finest Flamenco Singers, Guitarists and Dancers, and supporting local Flamenco  students,  dreamers, and talents, our goal has been to  present top notch performances. Phoebe Vernier "La Fibi" has brought decades of artistry and energy to the public for the purpose of sharing the music, song and dance, of Los Gitanos de Andalucía (Roma), the treasure of Southern Spain. Join us for an intoxicating evening of fiery flamenco performances when FLAMENCO! LIVE! presents a special evening with "AIRE FLAMENCO", formed in 1989 by Mark Taylor and Jaime del Rio. Master percussionist Rami Ziadeh was a mainstay with this duo. During the course of those years, AIRE FLAMENCO enlisted the fine artistry of many SF Bay Area and Santa Cruz Flamenco dancers, and musicians. Dancers Andrea "La Canela", "La Linda", and "La Fibi" were a vital part of this ensembles history.AIRE FLAMENCO performed and toured for over 20 years in San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Taos, New Mexico, and in Portland at The Portland Opera House.FLAMENCO!
