UP FROM THE EARTH, OUT THROUGH THE PEOPLE, is a documentary that brings you into the heart of the African Ancestral Society’s 'Black Wall Street Memorial March', an annual memorial march for 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre victims. Rooted in ancient African traditions, this procession of the Ancestors is deeply spiritual. Remembrance, resistance and rejoice coalesce into something powerful and beautiful – collective movement to the rhythms of the drum. SCREENING IN MEETING ROOM #1
