Studio Visit Featuring Philadelphia based artist Carlos Nunez

Carlos produces paintings inspired by certain aspects of the US struggle. His focus is to identify our own struggles so that our stories can be told and realized. His work symbolizes financial exploitation caused by the greed of those in power. The work often uses symbols to exploit political agendas. His work has a strong connection to such artists as Diego Rivera, David Siqueiros and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
