American college campuses have become hot spots for protests, unrest, occupations, and encampments since October 7, 2023. ACTA will host a conversation on the challenges facing university leadership as they seek to maintain rules and procedures that ensure campus safety while protecting the freedom to teach and learn.ACTA welcomes Special Guest Vanderbilt University Chancellor Daniel Diermeier. He will deliver remarks and a fireside chat on his strategies, philosophies, and vision for Vanderbilt and higher education institutions in America. Joining him will be ACTA board member and The George Washington University president emeritus Stephen Trachtenberg. ACTA President Michael Poliakoff will moderate the discussion. Q&amp;A from the audience will follow.
