Is social distancing making the kids stir crazy?  Afraid they're falling behind in school while you drown in NTI? We understand, and we're with you. That's why we created the Week of Code: At Home!

<H2>Here's a few of the biggest quarantine mistakes you should avoid with your children: </H2>

Allowing Kids Too Much Idle Time (It's easy to get carried away with unproductive screen time like Youtube, TikTok, and Facebook)

Not Encouraging Them to Learn a New Skill (Now is the perfect time to get a step up over their classmates)

Not Keeping Them Engaged Socially (Peer interaction is important - even if it's just online)

Learn how to create their own website and video game (Provides productive screen time)

"My son had an AWESOME week at coding camp. He was able to apply the knowledge and skills that he learned at camp to design a website on the parts and functions of a living cell for a school project.  He was the only one in his whole class who was able to do this, thanks to the camp. Wouldn't it be nice to know your child is being productive without you having to have eyes in the back of your head? This camp runs completely online for 2 hours daily. Which means you have 2 hours of guilt free time to yourself. Lessons are short video conference calls with the class where instructors teach, and are always available to help through 1 to 1 conference calls.
In addition to online video calls, we have created a <A HREF="https://discordapp.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Discord</A> channel, allowing for easy voice calls and communication via messages, and making it easier to send and receive links, such as projects, conference calls, tutorials, etc.
Shouldn't your child spend their "off time" learning to create technology instead of just playing with it? Our Home Camp boosts creativity, logical thinking skills, and brain power! Week of Code is a blend of computer programming, problem-solving, and teamwork!

<H2>Who should attend Week of Code Camp?</H2>
 
This camp is designed for 6th-12th grade (ages 12-18) students with interest in learning how to code websites, mobile apps, and video games. Our students are boys and girls who like technology or enjoy playing video games like Minecraft. No prior programming experience is required.

<H2>What is Awesome Inc U?</H2>
 
Awesome Inc U exists to help people learn to code. Since 2013, we've helped over 1,700 people on their journey to learning computer programming. Our students are kids and adults who know that it’s never too early or too late to learn how to code. We've seen that the ability to write code and build software is an essential skill for the 21st century. It's something that sparks creativity, fosters a stronger global community, and leads to great career opportunities. You don’t have to be a genius to learn to code; you just need to be determined.
