AHSC Rural Innovation Project Area Webinar

TheCalifornia Strategic Growth Council(SGC) works collaboratively with public agencies, communities, and stakeholders to achieve sustainability, equity, economic prosperity, and quality of life for all. SGC also administers a suite of grant programs funded through California Climate Investments - a statewide initiative that puts billions of Cap-and-Trade dollars to work reducing greenhouse gas emissions while providing a variety of other benefits - particularly in disadvantaged communities.Enterprise Community Partnersestablished its AHSC Technical Assistance (TA) program in 2014 to ensure that public and private partners have the support needed to craft innovative, environmentally impactful and community-driven applications. Our work brings unlikely partners together into high-functioning teams whose combined housing and transportation infrastructure projects make healthy, well-connected and sustainable neighborhoods.

This webinar will focus on how rural projects can compete for AHSC funds and will feature rural-specific case studies and strategies.

This virtual workshop will focus on the basics of the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities Program as it relates to rural communities in California.
