Certification in Mental Health First Aid will be attained upon completion of this training.<h3>**This is a "blended" course. A 2-hour self-paced training is required to be completed prior to the in-person class. All of the materials and links will be provided to you.</h3>You will learn:-The prevalence of mental illness in the U.S. and the emotional and economic cost.-The potential warning signs and risk factors for mental health challenges and crisis.-A 5-step action plan to help an individual in crisis connect to professional care.-Resources available to help someone with a mental health problem.
