Drop your child off at Queens Botanical Garden for our 9am-3pm program! Kids spend time exploring, playing, and learning in nature.

Drop off your child to enjoy the garden on their day off from school! Children will participate in seasonal activities and learn about holidays &amp; traditions of the fall season. The program incorporates the garden as a resource to support nature discovery, songs &amp; stories, botanical art &amp; recipes, and science investigations. This program is for drop-off only and takes place both indoors and outdoors. Masks are not required. We kindly require that all children are able to use the bathroom independently. Lunch is not provided as a part of this program.Your registration supports Queens Botanical Garden, the place where people, plants, and cultures meet! If you have questions and would like to speak to someone on our team, contact kidsprograms@queensbotanical.org or 718.886.3800, ext. 218.***Date (Note: each ticket purchase is for one single date at a time):<ul><li>Indigenous Peoples’ Day, October 14</li><li>Diwali, November 1</li><li>Election Day, November 5</li></ul>Time: 9am-3pmGrades: Pre-K - 5thCost: $110 Non-Member / $99 Family-Level+ Member <h3>More Information:</h3><ul><li>This program is held both indoors and outdoors.</li><li>The program runs rain or shine.</li><li>If driving, you may drop off your child or stay and park, $5 discounted parking rate applies.</li><li>Families have the option to purchase a Donation ticket at checkout to help support our Scholarship Fund for current and future Kids Programs.</li><li>QBG reserves the right to cancel the program due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event that it is canceled, you will be fully refunded the program fee.</li><li>There will not be make-up classes for absences due to sicknesses or other reasons.</li><li>QBG is dedicated to providing the best possible learning environment for our students. If your child requires any accommodations please email kidsprograms@queensbotanical.org.</li><li>If you qualify for the Family-Level+ Member or Sibling discount (see below), please remember to apply the discount code upon checkout.</li></ul> <h3>Health &amp; Safety</h3><ul><li>Vaccines are strongly encouraged but not required.</li><li>Masks are no longer required while indoors.</li><li>If you are showing symptoms of sickness, please do not attend.</li></ul>Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring this program is safe for everyone! <h3>Cancellations</h3>During inclement weather, we will bring the group under cover and indoors and do not plan to cancel. In the rare case that an event is cancelled, you will be notified via email. <h3>Discounts</h3>Members with Family-Level Membership and above receive a 10% discount by entering the code "MEMBER"* at checkout in the "Promo Code" field (reference image below). Siblings can receive a 5% discount by using the code "SIBLING". No discounts may be applied after your transaction is processed.*For QBG Family-Level+ Members only. <h3>Donate</h3>Families can buy a Donation ticket during registration to help support Queens Botanical Garden. Donations do not go toward registration fees. We thank you for your generosity! <h3>Refund Policy</h3>We have a no-refund policy within 30 days from the program start date. If you must cancel after registering, notify the Kids Programs staff at 718-886-3800 x218 or kidsprograms@queensbotanical.org at least 30 full days before the start of the program and the Garden will refund 75% of the program cost.Refunds and credits are not issued for partial attendance or after the program begins. Registrations are nontransferable.There will not be make-up classes for absences due to sicknesses. <h3>Garden Etiquette</h3>QBG staff strives to provide a place of peace, beauty, and safety for the quiet enjoyment of our visitors. QBG is a living museum, a collection of gardens for the study, culture, exhibition, and display of plants. We encourage our visitors to explore, enjoy, and be respectful of our plant collections and to be considerate of fellow guests as well. You may receive updates about future QBG events and news through the addresses you provide.
