Some of your church members live in unsafe homes. How can you minister to victims who are quarantined with their abusers?

Sheltering Wings has served victims of domestic violence for nearly 20 years. We're poised to respond to what experts predict will be a flood of victims. The abuse many are experiencing during the coronavirus quarantine will simply become too much to endure. But, we know we cannot respond alone. Church leaders, you serve a critical role in ministering to these vulnerable people. Many will disclose their abuse to you as their pastor before they reach out to anyone else. Are you ready to respond?We'll discuss questions like:<ul><li>How do I recognize abuse?</li><li>How do I respond when a victim approaches me? </li><li>Can I hold an abuser accountable? If so, how?</li><li>What resources are available and how can we partner?</li></ul>Join us for this exclusive Zoom discussion. We'll send the link and login info the morning of the event.
