Proscaenium Theatre Company is a 501(c)(3) organization that seeks to create an artistic home where artists and allies can gather to celebrate life, empower as one, and navigate  humanity. At Proscaenium we strive to be courageous and passionate storytellers who tell culturally relevant and provocative stories. We yearn to spark imagination, activate the heart, disrupt the senses and adventure into crossing the boundaries of the mind.

<h3>Origins Theatre Festival is a weekend long celebration held in October 11th through 13th, 2024 dedicated to uplifting emerging artists from the BIPOC community innovating in the arts.</h3><h3><br></h3><p>CRAYON SUN is an elegy based on recent tragedy at Uvalde, TX.<br><br>We are introduced to two child protagonists, VALORIA and MANDO, who engage in a playful, banter until their childhood innocence collide with the inexplicable horrors of adult reality.<br><br>Centered around the elusive question—why is this happening?—the play grants its young characters the complex freedom to simply be children, creating a stark, emotional juxtaposition that captivates and challenges both our minds and our hearts.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><strong>We want to make sure theatre is accessible for everyone, if your budget does not allow you to purchase any of these ticket options email boxoffice@proscaenium.com</strong></strong></p>
