Come join us at Backesto Park for the 18th Annual Luna Park Chalk Art Festival. Artists of all ages and abilities are welcome!

Join us on the sidwalks of Backesto Park for a colorful day of art, music, food and family friendly entertainment! Bring your family and friends to observe your artistic creation.We are 100% non-judgemental, welcoming chalk artists of all ages and abilities.By registering for a chalk square you will be contributing to our Foundation's mission, which is:<ul><li>Provide inclusive, participatory, arts events that support artists, educators, students and community members.</li><li>Support youth arts programs in schools and nonprofit organizations through our workshops, events, and grants.</li><li>Activate community spaces in the Luna Park Business District, the Northside Neighborhood, and the surrounding neighborhoods.</li></ul>When you register for a chalk square, we provide you with the chalk and consider you to be a "contributing artist" - you contribute by adding to the color of the day and also, a portion of your registration fee goes toward:<ul><li>Running our Festival - city fees, site services, security, equipment rental, etc.</li><li>Providing honoraria for inspiring artists and stage entertainers.</li><li>Providing free chalk spaces for registered youth groups.</li><li>Donating funds to arts programs for the participating youth groups (¾ of our participating youth groups are Title 1 schools).</li></ul>This event is run entirely by volunteers for the benefit of our neighbors and friends.If you wish to discuss physical accomodations please email us at hello@lunaparkarts.org.If you are looking to sign up your K-12/youth group, please go to our website, <a href="https://lunaparkarts.org" title="https://lunaparkarts.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">lunaparkarts.org.</a>You may wish to look at the map below to select the area for your space before you click on the button to get tickets.
