The Rho Tau Lambda Foundation, Inc. is a 501(C)(3) Affiliate of The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Rho Tau Lambda Chapter.The RTL Foundation, Inc. develops the next generation of leaders, promotes academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for communities through the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan Area. We work to enhance the the lives of all through service and outreach. Proceeds from all our events support the Rho Tau Lambda Foundation mission.The RTL Foundation awards scholarships annually such as the Samuel Brown Scholarship at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute are given annually to deserving graduating male students. In addition to other Scholarships provided to graduating High School students in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. The RTL Foundation funds its SAT Prep, Project Alpha Achievers Out of School Time (OST) Program for Elementary & Middle School students and community resource activities.

Known as one of Baltimore’s biggest and classiest winter parties with a purpose, The Black and Gold Gala celebrates, unites, and inspires culture, excellence, scholarship, beauty, and style within the African American community.Hosted by the Rho Tau Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the RTL Foundation, Inc. a non profit 501 (c)(3) organization.
