Every Christian needs opportunities to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus and to deepen his or her understanding of Scripture (2 Peter 3:18). The River is a cooperative ministry venture focused on empowering and encouraging communities of faith through Biblical training, curricula, and mentorship. Join us online to discover how to pray like a friend of God by learning from the example of Abraham!

<p>Abraham is the only indiviudal Old Testament person identified as "the friend of God." So, how does God's friend talk to Him? And what might we learn about prayer from his example? This two evening online class, meeting Nov 7 and 14, will turn our attention to a handful of passages from Genesis to discover what there is to learn from him. Although the class is free, we would like you to register so that we can plan accordingly.</p>
