Founded by Anna and Daria Halprin, the Tamalpa Institute offers classes and programs throughout the year for people who wish to incorporate the embodied creativity of the arts into their personal lives and professional practices.

4 Tuesdays - November 5, 12, 19, &amp; 26, 2024Time: 10am - 12pm PT*(U.S. daylight savings change happens November 3rd)Cost: $119 for the seriesYour body carries the archetypal energy of the different mythical motifs and stages of your journey toward wholeness and meaning. In this workshop series you will identify and explore those archetypes that support and inform the mythic dimension of your current stage in life and: <ul><li>Identify what is most alive in you.</li><li>Open up and align with the guidance, intuition, and wisdom of your body.</li><li>Harness the courage that empowers you to face and navigate life challenges.</li><li>Tend to your innermost brilliance. </li></ul>In this 4-week journey participants will be guided to identify their own individual resonances with and connections to the Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey and Maureen Murdock’s Heroine’s Journey, utilizing the methodology of the Tamalpa Life/Art Process: somatic movement, movement metaphors, body part mythology, dance explorations, guided imagery, expressive arts, and Life/Art dialogues.No previous art experience is necessary.To get the most out of this online class, please prepare a comfortable space to move in with access to your online device.
