Farm to Early Care and Education:  Healthier Menu Planning Webinar - 922

Quality Care for Children istheresource for parents, child care providers and community leaders in Georgia seeking information, assistance and support in securing high quality early learning experiences for infants and young children.We work with parents from across the state to assist them in finding child care. We ensure children statewide are fed nutritious meals through the child care food program. We work with child care providers in the following counties to help them offer quality care child care.

Quality Care for Children

This training will focus on providing ECE sites with knowledge, skills, and resources for developing healthier menus that incorporate more locally grown fruits and vegetables based on the CACFP meal patterns and best practices.
General Guidelines:

<LI>This training will be delivered via GoToMeeting.</LI>
<LI>You must participate on-line, not by phone call.</LI>
<LI>You will be required to have a video camera on during the training to fully engage and get the most out of the training.</LI>
<LI>You must complete a post assessment and/or short exercise that will be emailed to you after the training in order to receive your certificate.</LI>
<LI>If a group will be viewing together, each person must register with a different email address.</LI>
<LI>Once you are registered, an email will be sent the day before with information on how to join the webinar, handouts and copy of slides.</LI>
