Embark on a journey through the ages of astrology with the Astro Study Club!
Astro Study Club: Exploring Ancient Wisdom Through Modern Eyes in the PRS Bookstore!
Embark on a journey through the ages of astrology with the Astro Study Club! We dive into the fascinating realm of astrology texts, spanning from ancient classics to modern interpretations.
Whether you're a seasoned astrologer or just beginning your journey into the mystical world of the stars, our study group provides a rich environment for learning, growth, and connection with others who share your passion for astrology.
Join us for a deep dive into traditional astrology using A Tiny Universe by Joy Usher as our guiding framework. This book explores the Thema Mundi (a symbolic chart representing the cosmos at humanity's beginning) as a lens for understanding planetary dignities, relationships, and chart interpretation.
OUR APPROACH
While we'll follow the book's structure, you're encouraged to bring in additional resources, perspectives, and texts. Think of this as a collaborative exploration where diverse sources enrich our understanding. You can read the monthly chapter or explore any additional resources that interest you. Monthly gatherings will be a collaborative discussion where we share insights from various sources, examine chart examples, and compare different perspectives.
TOPICS OF FOCUS
February: Five Kinds of Accidental Dignity
March: Friends and Enemies
April: Qualities, Elements and Aspects
May: Signs of the Zodiac
June: The Twelve Houses
July: The Whole Sign Chart
August: Wrapping up the book — integration and practical application
