Emotional intelligence is paramount to the work that we do in our field. A clinician’s emotional intelligence level can impact the therapeutic relationship in positive or negative ways. This workshop will present research and best practices associated with EI and mental health. Dr. Erica Anthony is an accomplished business professional with diverse skills serving in various roles; she brings more than 15 years of experience working for global organizations such as Sprint and Honeywell as well as non-profit organizations. She’s currently the Chair for the Business Administration Department and an Associate Professor of Management with the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Managements at Morgan State University. Through her purpose and passion for developing the professional skills of others, Erica conceptualized and founded Lyceum Innovative Leadership LLC, an organization focused on the professional development of organizational leaders and employees.Erica is effective with ensuring her clients have the necessary skills for professional growth and leadership development. She specializes in assisting professional men and women in reaching their full potential. She has facilitated individual coaching and group seminars focusing on leadership and team building skills. Lyceum Innovative Leadership LLC also offers coaching in other areas of professional development such as employee engagement, empowerment, decision – making processes, communication skills, and more personal areas of development such as individual beliefs and value systems. Her clients love her energy, dynamic personality, and inspirational appeal.
