For Bay Area Manufacturing Week 2024, the City of Berkeley Office of Economic Development is excited to announce a tour of Berkeley-based Zenbooth.Zenbooth is the first American company dedicated to creating quiet spaces in the workplace. The Zenbooth is a private, quiet, eco-friendly and comfortable booth that provides a space for people to make phone calls, focus, and be productive.Zenbooth's tour will allow visitors to experience their full suite of office phone booths with the opportunity to meet some of their staff. This tour will offer complete a walk-through of their facility and an overview of their manufacturing process.Please note during the tour equipment such as CNC, sanders, and other large machinery will be running. Zenbooth will provide earplugs, glasses, and a medical procedure mask to all attendees.In addition, please plan to wear closed-toe shoes.Since parking is very limited, it is recommend that attendees use public transportation or bike if possible.If you do plan to drive, it is recommended to park in Abrams lot (a paid lot that is not affiliated with Zenbooth) off of Hearst Street (behind 4th Street shops). It is a quick 3 minute walk from Abrams lot to Zenbooth's building, which is located next to Truitt &amp; White, underneath the highway overpass.
