No more trying to be mindful alone.The Hive exists to develop creative, compassionate, and mindfully-engaged citizens in the Cincinnati region, and online through small group classes and workshops. We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. We hope you'll try a class and like it enough to become a regular member. Your partnership helps make this nonprofit possible.(As a social enterprise, the Hive shares our story with photos of classes and events. If you are opposed to sharing your lovely face, let us know and we'll do our best to avoid that. Each facilitator-led, self-healing touch session begins with creative writing and visual art, simple expression. Using colored pencils, markers, and blank paper to create whatever is there or not there for you. Examples of this could be setting an intention for the class, drawing or sketching, affirmations, or simple notes about your day. 
Intentional breathing to warm up the body will be followed by yoga poses and stretches. Once warmed up and grounded, we will move into a facilitator-led healing touch session guiding your hands into different positions and chakras along the body. Techniques like chakra connection or spiral connection can clear and cleanse stagnant energy. Helps to support sleep, relaxation, healing, and can minimize anxiety along with countless other benefits. 
Each week will be focused on a different healing touch technique or a continuation of the last technique. We also have the possibility of partnering for healing touch (which does not require physical touch) in some sessions. Once we complete our healing touch sequence and ground our energy we will journal and share our experiences. 
Yah-Unity Israel is a long time healing arts professional with training and experience in Yoga, Healing Touch, Metaphysical Healing, and Wholebody care. Certifications include 200hr yoga, meditation certification, and Healing Touch levels 1,2, and 3. Passionately sharing and giving Love and Gratitude, Yah-Unity focuses on sharing the tools to heal yourself vs. claiming to heal you. Along with lecturing about self love and self care, Yah-Unity also teaches new techniques and ways of life that support a healthy lifestyle. She loves to travel and enjoys sacred bodies of water and mountains. Yah-Unity danced professionally for twenty years and became a teaching artist fifteen years ago. She has performed and taught all over the world in gratitude. Yah-Unity is currently in school for accounting and is the mother of a curious six year old boy.
