No more trying to be mindful alone.The Hive exists to develop creative, compassionate, and mindfully-engaged citizens in the Cincinnati region, and online through small group classes and workshops. We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. We hope you'll try a class and like it enough to become a regular member. Your partnership helps make this nonprofit possible.(As a social enterprise, the Hive shares our story with photos of classes and events. If you are opposed to sharing your lovely face, let us know and we'll do our best to avoid that. But, by using an event ticket you agree to let The Hive share your image in photo, audio, and video form. For Zoom classes we occassionally announce if we elecet to record- please let your host or faciliator know if you do not want to be recorded.)

Healing Your Life: An Ayurvedic Wellness Program will introduce the ancient teachings of Ayurveda and help guide the way to practically implement them into modern life. Participants will learn the foundational theories of Ayurveda and will gain an understanding of their natural constitutions, the nature of any imbalances, the cause of disease from an Ayurvedic perspective, and how to heal their lives through food, touch (self-massage), aromatherapy, color therapy, music therapy, and healthy lifestyle routines. This is meant to be an interactive class where various techniques will be taught, including meditation, nasal cleansing, pranayama and more. 
Suzanne Sifri received her B.S. in Biology and Environmental Studies from The College of Charleston in 2012. She continued her education of sustainability by working on organic farms across the country and advocating for the local food movement for several years thereafter. Soon after settling down in Cincinnati, she attended her first yoga teacher training in 2016 and began teaching shortly after. It was through yoga that the spark of her passion for Ayurveda ignited. She was so excited to find a natural system of medicine which holistically addressed all layers of our existence AND the root cause of disease. Ayurveda has given her the opportunity to combine her passions in order to help people heal themselves. Suzanne has been formally studying Ayurveda for the last 4 years at the California College of Ayurveda, and has completed both the Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Ayurvedic Clinical Specialist programs.She is currently an Ayurvedic Health Counselor Intern, and has been working individually with clients since November.
