波士顿大学数据科学大数据求职研讨会：探讨数据科学的趋势与就业前景，现场招聘10月14日

以前只知道数据科学岗位薪水高，你是否知道：数据科学今后的发展趋势是什么？持续发展潜力有多大？人才需求有多高？具体要求有哪些？如何准备？
 我们想通过此次东部校园讲座，连接美国东西两边的数据科学家，大数据工程师，学生和专业人士，共同探讨大数据和数据科学的职业发展话题，为更多求职者提供帮助。 
讲座主要内容
1.     硅谷大数据和数据科学的发展现状
2.     数据应用系统的成熟框架
3.     转行数据科学，需要怎样准备
4.     数据相关工作的求职技巧

嘉宾介绍
Jason Geng
数据应用学院（Data Application Lab）创始人，Data Scientist 课程、Hadoop、Spark高级讲师；南加州大学Marshall商学院的客座讲师，教授数据科学和NoSQL数据库；数据科学协会（Data Science Association）发起人，组织了2016年SoCal Data Science Conference，2016 SVIEF 硅谷高创会担任“云计算和大计算”分论坛嘉宾。 创业前曾在Symantec工作八年Data Scientist，Data Engineer，为大数据安全、数据科学领域专家。致力于帮助对数据科学感兴趣的同学发掘自己的兴趣和擅长之处，找到理想的工作。
 
马驰
曾任新东方GRE、GMAT、SAT资深讲师，现供职于BlackRock，专注Big Data in Finance, Fintech和Alpha策略，善于多因子模型，事件驱动策略的数据分析，以及高频金融数据的处理和研究。马驰毕业于UC Berkeley并拥有Baruch MFE学位，曾任职于中信证券并购部，专注私有化和产业并购。

北美第一家培训－项目实习－内推一站式专业数据人才输送机构，提供大数据和数据科学培训和公司项目解决方案，由南加州与硅谷的高级数据科学家与数据工程师联合创办，致力于传播数据行业最新应用和知识、培训及输送优秀大数据人才，以填补人才缺口、充分发挥大数据在商业中的力量。
数据应用学院已成功举办8期bootcamp，累计培训Data Scientist/Data Engineer/Business Analyst等数据人才超过300人。毕业学生工作去向包括Google,Ebay, Bloomberg, Amazon, Snapchat, Discover, ZestFinance, Zillow, Salesforce, Acumen, Sportify等公司。
数据应用学院从2015年起与北美各高校联合主办“数据科学行业和职业发展公益”讲座，合作学校包括：USC、UCLA、UCRiverside、UCIrvine、UCSD、UCSB，University of Washington，University of Chicago, Northwestern University, UIUC, UMichigan, IIT，University of Texas at Dallas，TA&MU, Rice University等近二十所高校，受到同学广泛欢迎，累计到场学生和young professionals数千人。
2016年9月25，数据应用学院和Data Science Association（数据科学协会）联合主办南加地区首届数据科学行业峰会“2016 SoCal Data Science Conference”（<A HREF="http://www.socaldatascience.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">www.socaldatascience.org</A>)，到场24位演讲嘉宾，625位观众，涉及IT、金融、娱乐、政府、医药、交通、教育等8个行业，30余所公司。
