Celebrating its 51st year, the Student Academy Awards honors the best in college-level student filmmaking. A program of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the competition receives more than 2600 submissions from over 700 colleges and universities around the world. Winners are chosen in each of four categories - Animation, Documentary, Live Action Narrative and Alternative/Experimental.In partnership with Rolex, the 2024 Student Academy Awards ceremony will be held in London on October 14. All awards will be presented at the ceremony with the top finisher in each category being screened immediately following the ceremony.
