The Race Back to School 2020

The third annual Race Back to School is open to bikers, runners and walkers of all ages and ability levels.

<ul><li>We are excited to invite you to participate in the reimagined RACE BACK TO SCHOOL from September 15th to October 15th!</li></ul><h3>This fun-filled challenge held on the Kingdom Trails network encourages walkers, runners, and bikers of all ages and ability levels. All event proceeds  will   be donated to local outdoor youth programming.  </h3><h3>DATES</h3><ul><li>September 15th - October 15th</li><li>Stay tuned for <strong>Fun Station</strong> Schedule!</li></ul><h3>REGISTRATION FEES</h3><ul><li>Youth (5-15) = $10</li><li>Adult (15+)=  $20</li></ul><p>Use code <strong>KTMEMBER</strong> if you are a current Kingdom Trails annual member, and get a 25% discount!</p><p>Scholarships available! Contact katie@kingdomtrails.org to learn more.</p><h3>POINTS</h3><p>The goal is to achieve the most amount of points!</p><p>Points are awarded for each mile traveled (while running, walking, or biking on the KT network) from Sept. 15- Oct 15. </p><p>Points are ALSO awarded  for participation at extra credit Fun Stations which range from physical fitness challenges to brain teasers. </p><p>1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the following categories will receive fun prizes!</p><p><strong>Team Categories</strong></p><ul><li>Big Team Bike (teams of 4-6 on bikes)</li><li>Small Team Bike (teams of 2-3 on bikes)</li><li>Big Team Mixed Mode (teams of 4-6 on bikes and on foot)</li><li>Small Team Mixed Mode (teams of 2-3 on bikes and on foot)</li></ul><p><strong>Individual Categories</strong></p><ul><li>Kid Bike (ages 5-9 on bikes)</li><li>Kid Mixed Mode (ages 5-9 on bikes and on foot)</li><li>Tween Bike (ages 10-15 on bikes)</li><li>Tween Foot (ages 10-15 on foot)</li><li>Adult Bike (ages 16+ on bikes)</li></ul><p><strong>Special Categories</strong></p><ul><li>Social Media Star</li><li>Extra Credit Eagle</li></ul><p>Individuals and family teams (People living in the same household) are eligible for competition. </p><h3>TRACKING PROGRESS</h3><p>You will need access to technology for this challenge.  Once registered, participants will download and use the <a href="https://ridewithgps.com/app" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ride With GPS</a> app to monitor their mileage and track progress.</p><p>Once you&#x27;ve registered with Ride With GPS and downloaded the app, you must join the Ride With GPS &quot;<a href="https://ridewithgps.com/goals/16455" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Goal</a>&quot; in order to join the leaderboard. Teams must consist of people living in the same household. </p><h3>FUNDRAISING OPPOURTUNITY</h3><p>The Race Back To School is also an opportunity for school fundraising!  Participants may choose to solicit and collect pledges for points accrued.
