April 5 Community Grief Tending Ritual (Zoom Call)

This team of facilitators hosts grief rituals at various locations across the PNW and the country. We are coming together to collectively offer what we can to tend to the grief of these times.

These Grief Tending Rituals are being organized by a team of Grief Tenders: Laurence Cole, Therese Charvet, Tere Carranza, Mary Hart, Siena Tenisci, Nala Walla &amp; Joanna Landis. 
PLEASE NOTE: This zoom meeting is only open to folks who have previously participated in Grief Rituals with one of us.  Subsequent sessions may open to the general public. 
These are unprecedented times. Times full of triumphs and travails.  We are all in uncharted waters, trying to navigate the swells of life.
Huge feelings are surfacing now, both personally and collectively, feelings which may make us feel ashamed, out of control, or numb.
Our rage, fear, and confusion are completely normal reactions to a world turned upside down.  Yet, there are so few places where strong emotions are welcome.  Our honest expressions aren't given space to "be", and, in this way, our grief is both magnified and stifled by loneliness and lack of support.
This virtual circle is an opportunity to gather as a “village” for the important work of tending to one another and our vulnerable hearts.
There is no grief too big or too small for our circle - from loss and change, for the earth and political climate, to fears for survival, and ancestral traumas. Let us come together to embrace our grief and reclaim our joy. 
How will we do this on ZOOM? We are still learning and are open to your help as we co-create this new healing ground. During our time together, we will honor our sacred grief through deep listening, song, calling upon our helping spirits, and staying connected.
We are not alone.
