With member-led chapters in major cities throughout the state, Stewards of the Wild chapters engage 21-45 year-old outdoor enthusiasts by hosting exclusive events to raise awareness of conservation issues facing future generations.

Who: Members of Stewards of the Wild Austin ChapterWhat: Weekend on Llano River in the beautiful Castell Cabins!Where: https://castellcabins.com/Friday, 10/11/24<ul><li>Arrive ~4PM - Hang out free time on the river</li><li>6:30 Group dinner (food provided)</li><li>8 PM Campfire and evening drinks (BYOB)</li></ul>Saturday, 10/12/24<ul><li>Breakfast on your own</li><li>Kayak or fish a 6.5 mile stretch of the Llano River (dependent on river conditions)</li><li>Lunch at Castell store or Coopers (Member cost) or bring your own</li><li>6:30pm - Group dinner (food provided)</li></ul>Sunday, 10/13/24<ul><li>9-11 AM Pack up, clean up, one last swim and depart</li></ul>If you choose to kayak, you can bring your own canoe/kayak or use the ones on site. We will have arrangements for a group drop off upstream.The cabins are located right on the Llano river so this will be a nice weekend to go explore or just relax on the river. Please indicate when checking out if you would like a single ticket or a double ticket (shared sleeping arrangement) and we will do our best to accommodate.**First come, first serve. Only 20 spots available. You have until September 27th at 11:59 pm to withdraw from the trip, if you withdraw after this date you forfeit the cost of your ticket. This is a members only event. **Please email austin@stewardsofthewild.org to withdraw or if all spots are taken and you would like to be added to the waitlist.
