Neighborhood Nite

The Sound Room is aptly named. The focus is on the sound or the music. Unlike clubs where the performance may be peripheral to the experience, at the Sound Room the performance is the experience.  We are an all-ages listening room. We exist to present great music and promote jazz as an art form.The Sound Room is the home of Bay Area Jazz & Arts, a  501(c)3 non-profit organization focused on promoting the Arts.

So it's Tuesday but you gotta eat and you want to do something but not be out late. We have the perfect evening for you! Doors open at 6:30P. Come on in to the front cafe and grab a bite to eat and something to drink. The food is brought to you by some Bay Area culinary stars. We will be offering specials on wine by the bottle so come bring your friends. Once the band is set up in The Sound Room (usually about 7:45) you can grab a seat and get ready for some fun.The Lucky Devils are a 3 to12 piece band that usually plays at wedding and corporate events. They need a place to do a showcase for prospective clients and we have a place with great food and drink, so why not? The band will play for 1 hour.Let us know you are coming! Reserve your spot now. You'll be home early enough that you don't have to worry about work the next day.Please RSVP if you are actually coming and cancel if you are unable to make it. This allows us to staff appropriately.
